LJC was formed in 1975 by bringing together like-minded individuals to improve all aspects of rental property ownership. Our goals are to educate ourselves in leasing, property management, and maintenance as well as improve relations with tenants and government entities.  

LJC is a member of TALK (The Associated Landlords of Kansas), the state landlord organization. TALK brings together representatives of groups all across Kansas to find solutions to fairly balance the interests of both tenants and landlords.

As housing providers in the state of Kansas and for the Johnson County community it’s important to come together as a group and discuss daily practices and routines to help our businesses thrive. LJC members strive to provide desirable rental housing for residents of the local community.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, except January and July, at 6pm at the Matt Ross Community Center in Overland Park, KS.
