KANSAS LEGISLATURE OVERRIDES GOVERNOR VETO OF LANDLORD-TENANT BILL

This bill prohibits cities and counties from
1. Passing laws forcing landlords to accept vouchers
2. Passing laws restricting landlords from using income, credit, eviction and criminal history to screen tenants.
The bill was passed by both senate and house then Vetoed by Governor Laura Kelly. The legislature Overrode that veto so this bill takes effect.
